Yes — at Liesl, safety is a top priority! During onboarding, we require both dog owners and sitters to have valid liability insurance that covers any potential damages during care. Both parties must explicitly confirm this.
In addition, the Liesl Guarantee offers extra protection: it complements your personal liability insurance in case of damage — for example, covering vet costs or emergency transport during a booked service.

Of course! The meet & greet lasts about 30 minutes and costs CHF 22.90. You’ll receive a CHF 10 voucher in return for your first booking.
Via push notifications, photos, and live GPS (coming soon) while your dog is with the sitter. That way, you always know how your dog is doing.
Cancellations can be made easily through the app. You can find the exact deadlines in our terms and conditions.
Liesl offers the following services:
Dog walking: Walks of 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes.
Half-day care: Care for approximately 4–5 hours.
Day care: Care for approximately 10–12 hours.
Overnight / holiday care: Care at the sitter’s home while you’re away.
Pet visits: Visits of 30, 60, or 90 minutes at your home.
House sitting: Care for your dog in your home (coming soon).
Meet & greet: Get to know the sitter before your first booking.
Payment is handled securely and directly through the app. Once you book a service, you pay online using the available payment methods. The amount is processed and transferred to the sitter after the service has been completed.
All transactions are transparent, and you receive an overview of your bookings and payments at any time in the app.
