I would love to become a dog sitter because dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including my childhood dog, who sadly passed away last year due to old age and cancer. Losing her was incredibly difficult, and this is the first year of my life that I haven't had a dog around every day. My family is originally from Italy, where I grew up spending time with our farm dogs. My family still has dogs today, and although I don't currently have one of my own, I visit them often and regularly help by dog-sitting whenever needed. Becoming a dog sitter would allow me to spend more time with dogs again, which is something I truly miss. I also enjoy being outdoors, and I see dog sitting as the perfect opportunity to be in nature, go on more walks, and give dogs the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. Spending time with dogs has always brought me so much joy, and I would love the chance to provide them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while their owners are away.
